2.5.10. Instructions for use control system of speed (tempostaty)

At refusals of a tempostat (ASCD) there is an automatic shutdown of system, the followed blinking of a control lamp of a tempostat on an instrument guard of the car (see the car Equipment, an arrangement of devices and governing bodies).

If the control lamp of a tempostat begins to blink, make switching off of system from the main switch and drive away the car on car repair shop.
Can lead inclusion of a tempostat from the main switch at a simultaneous nazhimaniye on buttons of management of the RES/ACCEL, COAST/SET or CANCEL system of the control panel on a steering wheel to a blinking of a control lamp, activation of system has to be made according to the instructions given below.

It is not necessary to use темпостат in the following road conditions:

  • When there is no possibility of the movement with the chosen constant speed;
  • At movement along the loaded roads;
  • At the movement on the serpentine;
  • In hilly and mountain areas;
  • At a slippery paving;
  • At strong wind.

Violation of this prevention is fraught with loss of control over management!

Management of functioning of a tempostat

The control system of speed (темпостат) provides a possibility of automatic maintenance of speed of the movement of the car in the range from 48 to 144 km/h without use of the accelerator pedal.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For inclusion of a tempostat transfer the main switch located on the car dashboard to the left of a steering column to position of ON (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Governing Bodies on car dashboards), the control lamp which is built in the switch has to light up (see the illustration Management of Functioning of a Tempostat).
  2. Accelerate the car to the required speed and press the COAST/SET button on the control panel of functioning of a tempostat (see the illustration Management of Functioning of a Tempostat) — the control lamp темпостат on an instrument guard has to light up (see the car Equipment, an arrangement of devices and governing bodies). Take away a leg from an accelerator pedal — the system will automatically support the chosen cruiser speed of the movement of the car.

For commission of overtaking squeeze out the accelerator pedal. After the pedal is released, the car will return to the chosen earlier cruiser speed.

At the movement under a bias or uphill темпостат does not provide maintenance of cruiser speed of the movement of the car and it has to be switched off.

Cancellation of the chosen cruiser speed can be made in three various ways:

After squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake at at the same time pressed RES/ACCEL button on the control panel, it is necessary to disconnect темпостат the main switch and to activate it repeatedly after a set of the required speed of the movement.

Tempostat is disconnected automatically at reduction in the rate of the movement of the car of the more than 13 km/h lower chosen cruiser value.

Switching off of a control system of speed can be made also by squeezing of a pedal of coupling (model with RKPP) or moving of the lever of the selector to situation "N" (models with AT) — the control lamp of a tempostat on an instrument guard has to go out.

Increase in the chosen cruiser speed of the movement of the car can be made in three ways:

For decrease in cruiser speed:

For return to earlier chosen cruiser speed quickly press the RES button (see the illustration Management of Functioning of a Tempostat) — as soon as the car accelerates over 48 km/h, темпостат will automatically bring it to the chosen earlier cruiser speed of the movement which will support further.

Try not to allow twistings of a driving cable of ASCD!
At adjustment on pull a cable with excessive effort!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Release lock and adjusting nuts (see the illustration Adjustment of a Cable of the Drive of a Tempostat).
  2. Check correctness of adjustment of a cable of gas.
  3. Tighten an adjusting nut so that the throttle drum began to move.
  4. Release a nut on 0.5 — 1 turns and strongly tighten a lock-nut.
